The #AmpliFriday spotlight is shining strong and bright today with a great nomination from Mike Henry for Brad Young!
Mike writes: “I am nominating Brad Young of Diverse Training Centre for Amplifriday. Brad has been nominated for several Kamloops Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards and in 2020 Diverse received the Small Business of the Year Award.
The pandemic was challenging for all fitness and gym operators and equally so for Brad. His creativity, client-centered approach and personal resilience let him pivot to developing online live and recorded class workouts that earned subscriptions globally. To support his personal training clients, he developed individual workout plans, provided regular virtual check-ins and even dropped equipment loaners to the clients’ front doors. He came through the pandemic with acquiring the studio building and a stronger client base.
Brad is active in supporting the community including supporting teams in running and fitness events, promoting community organizations including the Mustard Seed and St. Anne’s Academy. Brad is totally committed to his family and is a proud dad to two daughters.
Brad’s persistently positive attitude serves him well and inspires both high performance athletes and those who work out to just keep mobile and healthy. A graduate of TRU, Brad is proud of his connection to the university and to the Kamloops community.“
Brad’s success comes through persistence and consistency, all fueled by heart and a drive to see people make their lives better through physical activity in positive, connected environment. Brad – you are a remarkable person of impact! As is our team at Amplify Consulting Inc.’s commitment, we will donate $100 to a charity of your choice to further amplify both your remarkable impact and the charity’s.

The BC Wildlife Park's motto is "Conservation through Education." They work to support wild ecosystems, biodiversity and a healthy natural environment through rehabilitation and education.
